Knowledge Transfer Director/Lead Instructor Mission:
The mission of the Knowledge Transfer Director/Lead Instructor is to act as a subject matter expert focused on helping AEC organizations develop more effective people leaders and project managers. The knowledge transfer director will do this by helping design and deliver custom learning and development programs and delivering content (i.e., articles, podcasts, videos, etc.).
Outcomes:- Interview program participants (leadership and project managers) prior to the program design.
- Review and input on the program curriculum during development.
- Lead design meetings with the client.
- Give 2 to 4 virtual sessions per week focused on participant engagement.
- Help to guide and grow other EMI instructors through training and mentoring.
- Strive to engage participants and seek 100% assignment completion.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, architecture, land surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in your technical field as a project manager.
- Engineering, PMP, or equivalent license/certification highly recommended, but not required.
- Speaking or instruction skills: previous experience speaking in public or presenting is a must.
- Toastmasters experience or credentials (e.g., Competent Communicator) is a plus.
- Work Location: Remote with 3 to 5 trips per year to Headquarters (Midland Park, NJ) plus travel to conferences if desired.

Hours:
The position is full‑time and requires 40 hours per week, but EMI is very flexible as to the time of day your work is conducted. - Other benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), profit sharing, and more.

Expected Salary$80,000 to $115,000*
* Salary range may vary based on applicant experience level and could be higher than indicated, especially with license or certification.
