Position: School Social Worker – Middle School (Immediate Hire)
Tenure Track:
Length of Assignment: 10-month
Start Date: ASAP
Final date to receive applications: Open until filled
- Valid New Jersey School Social Worker certification.
- Knowledge of IEP process and school-based intervention planning.
- Strong consultation/collaboration skills with staff, students, and families.
- Preferred: experience at the middle school level; experience supporting students with behavioral and social-emotional needs.
- Participate in CST/IEP processes as assigned, including social history evaluations and team consultation.
- Support attendance, behavior, and family outreach interventions.
- Collaborate with administrators, teachers, CST members, related service providers, and community agencies.
- Maintain documentation and confidentiality consistent with district procedures and legal requirements.
