Transfer Admissions Counselor

Location: Lawrenceville

The Office of Admissions invites applications for a Transfer Admissions Counselor who will be responsible for obtaining the necessary knowledge of all aspects of Rider and acting as a spokesperson for the university according to its missions and expectations. The Transfer Admissions Counselor will also be responsible for counseling prospective transfer students; reviewing applications; making admission decisions; and managing a specific recruitment territory (NJ, PA, MD, and NY).

As a Transfer Admissions Counselor, the entire cost of car insurance is reimbursed in 3-month intervals. * Bachelor's degree

* Valid driver's license and vehicle required.

* Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.

* The candidate will have demonstrated exemplary skills in:

* Communication - written and spoken

* Customer Service

* Technology - Slate, Banner, Windows Suite, Google Suite, etc.

* Attention to detail

* Time management

* Public speaking/Presentations

* Relationship building

* Experience in higher education, preferably working with transfer students or having worked at a two-year college

* Bilingual
