Bukowiec Memorial Scholarship: Athlete Leader

THE JOHN R. BUKOWIEC MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP: (Howell High School Students)

Two (2) (one male/one female) $500 scholarships will be awarded to a graduating senior from Howell High School.

This scholarship was created in loving memory of John R. Bukowiec, a graduate of Howell High School, Class of 2010. This scholarship is a memorial to a young man who had a big heart and an even bigger smile. Johnny found joy in everything he did and had an amazing ability to make everyone else smile. His energizing spirit was contagious.

• Student athlete who displays infectious enthusiasm, exudes a positive attitude and extraordinary leadership on and off the playing field;
• Student must be a Varsity letter winner in at least one sport and must be involved in at least one non-athletic extracurricular activity;
• Student must be accepted to a four-year college or university; and
• Consideration will be given to financial need.

• Applicant must submit an essay on how their sports team(s) and extracurricular activities have impacted their high school experience and life outside of school.

Guidance Office will forward complete applications to the Bukowiec Family for selection.
