What You’ll Do- Provide a warm, responsive, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers
- Foster children’s social‑emotional, cognitive, language, and motor development through structured routines and purposeful play
- Implement lesson plans and participate in small group learning, story time, music & movement, sensory activities, and more
- Maintain open communication with families through daily reports, updates, and parent‑teacher conferences
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and compliant with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Support self‑help skill development such as hand‑washing, toileting, and simple classroom routines
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a toddler/childcare classroom
- CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or a related field)
- Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate best practices (or a willingness to learn, grow professionally, and apply coaching/feedback)
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain upon hire)
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
- Passion for early childhood education and a genuine love of working with toddlers
- Reliable, collaborative team players who thrive in a supportive teaching environment
- Ability to model empathy, patience, and positivity while engaging actively with children
- Ability to meet the physical demands of a toddler classroom
