Patrick M. Villano Elementary School is seeking a dynamic and engaging Part‑Time Spanish Teacher to provide high‑quality world language instruction to students in grades 4 through 6. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, promote cultural awareness, and support students in developing foundational Spanish language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate Spanish language instruction aligned with district and state standards
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding
- Incorporate a variety of instructional strategies, including interactive activities, technology, and differentiated instruction
- Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to students, parents, and administration
- Create a classroom environment that encourages participation, respect, and enthusiasm for learning a new language
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support interdisciplinary learning opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events as appropriate
- Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate (Spanish or World Language preferred)

- Experience teaching elementary‑aged students (preferred)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Knowledge of best practices in language instruction and student engagement
- Ability to integrate cultural components into language lessons
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- Enthusiastic, creative, and student‑centered approach to teaching
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital learning tools
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Salary Range - as per EEA Agreement (salary guide attached)
