Learning Tree Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre‑K Lead Teacher with a valid NJ P‑3 Certification to join our growing team. We are a play‑based, child‑centered program focused on building strong academic and social‑emotional foundations for lifelong success.

As a UPK Lead Teacher, you will lead a state‑funded preschool classroom aligned with New Jersey’s high‑quality preschool standards. You’ll create a nurturing, engaging environment while implementing a research‑based curriculum.

• Valid New Jersey P-3 Teaching Certification (REQUIRED)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Experience in preschool or UPK setting preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for early childhood development and teamwork

• Implement Creative Curriculum with fidelity
• Use Teaching Strategies GOLD for ongoing child assessment
• Develop and execute engaging lesson plans aligned with NJ standards
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with families and administration
• Collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff
• Maintain compliance with NJ licensing and UPK program requirements
