Full-Time Teacher of Special Education
Burlington County Institute of Technology – Medford Campus
BCIT is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Special Education to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJDOE Instructional Certificate in Special Education and demonstrate strong knowledge of the subject area and effective teaching practices. The candidate should have the ability to foster a positive learning environment, engage students in meaningful instruction, and collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.
Qualifications- NJDOE Instructional Certificate in Special Education (required)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Special Education content and instructional methods
- Ability to maintain a supportive and structured classroom environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to working with a diverse student population
Annual Salary Range: $65,737 – $81,313 (commensurate with education and experience).
Note:
Starting salaries typically fall within the lower portion of the range due to collective bargaining agreements.
