Kindergarten Teacher - Tenure Track

Verona Public Schools is seeking a warm, dedicated, and student-centered Kindergarten Teacher to join our elementary team at Laning Avenue School. The ideal candidate will create a positive, nurturing classroom environment that supports young learners' academic, social, and emotional growth while building a strong foundation for future success.

Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of effective early childhood/elementary instructional practices, the ability to develop standards-aligned lessons, the use of assessment data to meet students' needs, effective communication with families, and collaboration with colleagues to support all learners. A valid New Jersey instructional certificate as Elementary School Teacher 1001 (preferred) or Preschool through Grade 3 1013 in the form of a Standard Certificate, Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS), Certificate of Eligibility (CE), or Limited CE/CEAS, as Verona Schools participates in the Limited CEAS/CE pilot program.
