Location: Iron Rock
Teacher of Special Education (LLMM) - Franklin
Pennsauken Public Schools is an urban/suburban Pre‑K to 12th grade school district of approximately 5,000 students located in Camden County, New Jersey.
Responsibilities- Develop lesson plans and prepare daily instruction program.
- Evaluate student progress and provide progress reports as required.
- Maintain professional competence.
- Identify pupil needs in cooperation with other professional staff members and assist in assessing and helping pupils with school related problems.
- Enforce school rules, administrative regulations and board policy.
- Maintain communication with parents, administrators and other professional staff members to best serve students.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work area.
- Perform other duties within the scope of employment and certification as assigned by the principal or designee.
- Endorsement #2475 Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Endorsement #2470 Teacher of the Handicap New Jersey State Certification required.
- Must pass NJ Criminal History Review Unit fingerprinting requirement.
- New Jersey State residency requirements for public employees in effect.
- Salary, terms and conditions per PEA contract.
- Salary range: $67,055–$94,219.
