Mountain Hill School is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to start in September 2026 who would like the opportunity to work as a Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher at our private preschool. This position is officially part-time, but potentially full-time.
Our school offers a great environment with happy teachers and happy students. We have a team teaching environment with a very supportive administration and an aesthetically beautiful campus and offer competitive hourly pay.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills- Experience working with young children, preferably in a classroom setting.
- Ability to relate well to children, colleagues, and families in a professional setting.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with working in a preschool setting (lifting, sitting on the floor, flexible with outdoor setting in varied temperatures).
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Knowledge and ability to support young students social and emotional needs.
The starting position as an assistant teacher could lead to a Head Teaching position if the candidate has a 4-Year degree in P-3 Education, or in a related major with a minor in Education or a CDA certification. A college degree is not required for the assistant teaching position.
