Location: Emerson
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and student-centered individual to serve as a Library Aide and Lunch/Recess Supervisor at our elementary school. This dual‑role position supports both the smooth operation of the school library and the safety and well‑being of students during lunch and recess periods.
Library Aide Duties: (1.5 hours)- Assist students and staff with locating books and using library resources
- Check books in and out using the library system
- Help maintain a welcoming, orderly, and engaging library environment
- Perform basic clerical tasks such as shelving books, labeling, inventory, and displays
- Supervise students eating lunch and on the playground to ensure safety and positive behavior
- Encourage respectful, inclusive, and appropriate student interactions
