Part Time Childcare Educator - Hazlet Township Public Schools

Educator Pay Rate: $16.00-$18.00 (based on education and experience)

Monday to Friday 7:00 AM - 8:10 AM and 2:50 PM - 6:00 PM

We provide local school districts before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. • Daily Program Meetings:
  Each day, review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and maintain team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily
  
  Activities:
  
  Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with the program’s objectives. Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Leading by Example:
  Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while also meeting program goals. Model positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy:
  Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. Document attendance, incidents, and other observations as required.
• Communication:
  Effectively communicate with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Team player.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Passion for inspiring a love of learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

• Meet state‑specific requirements.
• First Aid and CPR in person.
• Positive tuberculosis test.
• Proof of MMR vaccination.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
