Summer Sports Camp Teacher

Position Summary

Sports Camp Teacher for NJ-based day camps, responsible for running sports activities for children ages 7‑14 during summer seasons of 4 to 8 weeks.

• Coach and teach engaging sports sessions in activities such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, pickleball, and backyard games.
• Lead a group of up to 15 students independently, ensuring a safe and fun environment.
• Manage and organize equipment and materials, including preparation before and cleanup after classes.
• Travel Monday‑Friday to Burlington and Mercer County locations as required.
• Assist with planning and implementing hands‑on activities that promote teamwork and physical fitness.

• Experience teaching or student‑teaching in K‑12 schools strongly preferred.
• Experience working with children in a camp or educational setting.
• Comfortable working with children ages 7‑14.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to travel to required sites.

Rate: $24/hr – $28/hr.
