Qualifications:
- Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped certification
- Teacher of English certification
Responsibilities:
- Provide coordination and leadership of the classroom
- Demonstrate an understanding of current best practices in the teaching of special education students
- Implement appropriate accommodations and modifications as per student IEP
- Write student progress reports
- Deliver individualized and group instruction and other educational objectives
- Collaborate with other professionals
