STEM and Technology Summer Camp Teacher

Job Summary

Lead Instructor for Summer Programs. Seasonal position (4‑10 weeks) starting in June. Work in‑room with kids ages 6‑11 or 8‑14. Paid training available.

• Lead and facilitate engaging technology‑based classes (e.g., Minecraft, video game creation, animation, robotics, 3D modeling, STEM, cooking) for up to 12 students independently or up to 25 students with an assistant.
• Configure and manage class equipment, safely transferring it between sites as needed.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and self‑empowerment.
• Participate in online training beginning in May, completing required modules at your own pace.

• 21 years of age or older.
• College graduate with a degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology, or a related field; graduating seniors with student‑teaching experience are encouraged.
• Experience working with children (classroom, volunteering, childcare, tutoring, coaching) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong technology skills (e.g., 3D modeling, coding, game creation, animation, robotics, video editing, digital arts, gaming platforms such as Minecraft or Roblox) are highly desirable.
• Located within driving distance of one of our partner regions with reliable transportation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no accommodations or work sponsorship will be offered.
• Available to work a minimum of 4 weeks, Monday through Friday, during peak summer.
• Passion for working with kids and fostering their creativity.

• Hourly rate: $19–$25, depending on experience, location, and availability.
