Adjunct-Instructor, Developmental English

Job Summary

Raritan Valley Community College's English department seeks qualified adjunct faculty members to teach Developmental English. The position offers daytime and evening courses on the Branchburg campus.

• Teach all courses assigned and submit required course documents, including syllabi and final grades.
• Provide feedback to students and record grades in a timely manner using the Learning Management System and its gradebook.
• Submit attendance verification and progress reports as directed.
• Comply with all college policies and requirements.

• Master's degree in the discipline or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience using technology and Learning Management Systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, video conferencing tools, and Canvas.

• Doctorate degree in the discipline.
• Prior teaching experience in the discipline.
• Minimum of two years of college teaching experience.

• Enrollment in the New Jersey retirement system via the Alternate Benefit Program for teaching three or more credits.
