First Grade Teacher - Tenure Track

Grade 1 Teacher Position

Oradell Public School District is seeking a highly qualified, student-centered educator to fill a tenure-track Grade 1 teaching position beginning in the  school year.

• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate instructional practices for young learners.
• Experience using assessment data to inform instruction, differentiate learning, and support the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of students.

• Commitment to fostering a classroom culture that promotes curiosity, collaboration, independence, and a love of learning.
• Strong classroom management skills that support positive student behavior and engagement.
• Proficiency in integrating technology to enhance teaching, learning, and communication.

• Eagerness to contribute to the continued growth and improvement of the school through committees, school initiatives, and collaborative problem-solving.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education or a related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
• Valid New Jersey teacher certification.
• Successful experience in elementary teaching, particularly in the primary grades, preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and best instructional practices for young learners preferred.
