Spanish Teacher Position

Cinnaminson Middle School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish Teacher for the  school year. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop their language skills and cultural understanding while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. This full-time position requires a commitment to academic excellence and a collaborative approach to teaching.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging Spanish language curriculum for middle school students.
• Create lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
• Integrate technology and multimedia resources into lessons to enhance language acquisition.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary learning and school initiatives.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language education.
• Organize and lead extracurricular activities related to the Spanish language and culture.
• Maintain classroom management and discipline in accordance with school policies.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field;
  Master's degree preferred.
• Valid teaching certification in the state of New Jersey for French language instruction.
• Strong proficiency in Spanish, both spoken and written.
• Previous teaching experience at the middle school level preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Familiarity with current educational technology and teaching methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
