Position: Leave Replacement Teacher of Social Studies Grades 7 & 8.
Position OverviewWood‑Ridge Public Schools is seeking a Social Studies teacher to serve as a leave replacement at Wood‑Ridge High School.
The ideal candidate:
- Must hold or be eligible for New Jersey Teacher of Social Studies (2300) or Middle School with Subject Matter Specialization Grades 5-8 (1104).
- Experience in making Social Studies meaningful to Junior High School students.
- Ability to deliver instruction on Civics.
- Short term leave replacement position, no medical benefits
- Prorated sick days
- Salary Range: $302.00 per‑day
Start Date:
October 12, 2026 and End Date:
February 4, 2027
