Summer Sports Camp Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual to work as a Sports Camp Teacher with our NJ based day camps to run sports activities for kids.

Summer seasonal position (4-8 weeks). Paid training.

Coach and teach exciting sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, pickleball and backyard games.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of up to 15 students independently through hands‑on sports activities.
• Manage and organize equipment and materials, including paid prep time before and after classes.
• Travel to Burlington and Mercer County on Monday‑Friday.
• Maintain a safe and engaging environment for children aged 7‑14.

Qualifications

• Teaching or student‑teaching experience in K‑12 schools strongly preferred.
• Experience with children in a camp or educational setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a small staff.
• Comfortable with up to 8 hours of front‑line instruction.

Rate: $24/hr – $28/hr.
