Rutgers Health – School of Nursing is seeking a temporary part-time Exam Proctor Assistant. The Exam Proctor Assistant will coordinate with course faculty to attend scheduled exams on the Blackwood Campus in Blackwood, NJ and proctor students during the exams. The focus will be on maintaining standards of academic honesty and exam-taking procedures as outlined by the Rutgers Student Code of Conduct and as directed by course faculty.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Monitors students taking exams and determine if there are any signs of academic dishonesty.
- Reports any concerns/issues/findings to the course faculty as soon as possible.
- Proctors scheduled exams throughout the academic year.
- Participates in training and preparation through the Office of Disability Services (ODS) to proctor students with testing accommodations during exams.
- Serves as exam proctor for students with ODS accommodations for testing.

Salary Details - $20 per hour

Work Arrangement
- Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 or the applicable provisions of relevant collective negotiations agreements, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Flexible work arrangements are not permanent, subject to change or discontinuation, and contingent on the employee receiving approval in the Flex Work@RU Application System.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent, and/or up to 4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field. Graduate student in nursing.
