Instructional Aide CBAP Program; Leave replacement

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Instructional Aide for the CBAP Program. This part‑time position, requiring 5.5 hours of work per day, will be based at Mount Prospect School. The successful candidate will support educators in delivering high‑quality instructional experiences to students, assisting with a range of tasks that enhance learning and promote student engagement.

• Assist teachers in the preparation and implementation of instructional materials and activities.
• Support students in their learning by providing one‑on‑one or small group assistance as needed.
• Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers regarding student needs and performance.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including grading assignments and maintaining student records.
• Facilitate communication between teachers, students, and parents regarding academic progress and concerns.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities as required.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or program coordinator.

• Substitute Certificate or Teaching Certification required.
• Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting student learning.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to the needs of individual students.
• Background check clearance as required by local regulations.
