Principal Position at Mount Olive High School

The Mount Olive Township School District is seeking an exceptional instructional leader to serve as the next Principal of Mount Olive High School. Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Building and sustaining a positive, inclusive, and supportive school climate and culture
  • Supporting district strategic goals and fostering alignment across schools and departments
  • Developing strong relationships with students, families, staff, and community stakeholders
  • Ensuring effective school operations, communication, and organizational systems
  • Promoting student achievement, belonging, engagement, and well-being
  • Providing instructional leadership by conducting meaningful classroom observations, delivering actionable feedback and strengthening Tier 1 instruction
  • Develop assistant principals, teacher leaders, department leaders, and emerging leaders through coaching, feedback, and meaningful leadership opportunities
  • Leading collaborative structures, including PLCs
  • Leading continuous school improvement efforts by aligning building goals with district priorities, monitoring progress, and fostering a culture of reflective practice

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate or eligibility required
  • Demonstrated successful leadership experience at the secondary level preferred
  • Strong background in instructional leadership, supervision, and school culture development
  • The ability to successfully complete a criminal history background check and provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
  • Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver or agreement to obtain residency within one year of employment

Salary: $140,000-$210,000; commensurate with experience
