• Classroom teacher assignment implemented per adopted job description.
• Assist with student instruction in both the classroom and welding lab.
• Guide and support student learning in a safe, structured environment.
• Demonstrate welding, cutting, fitting, and fabrication techniques.
• Prepare materials and projects for instruction.
• Weld, fabricate, cut, and visually inspect welds on a variety of materials and processes.
• Work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Facilitate workshop sessions as needed.
• Communicate clearly with students in both English and Spanish.
• Enforce all shop and lab safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Holds a New Jersey Instructional Welding (2543) Certification.
• Strong knowledge of welding theory, welding code requirements, and certification standards.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace and lab safety, including the ability to follow and enforce safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds, skill levels, and learning needs.
• Completion of a background check will be required.
