School Guidance Counselor - 11-Month Position
FLORENCE TOWNSHIP SCHOOL DISTRICT
Location:
Riverfront School
- Must hold a valid New Jersey School Counselor certificate or be eligible for a New Jersey School Counselor certificate.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of counseling theories and effective individual and group counseling techniques in a middle school setting.
- Broad knowledge of student testing, evaluation, and the interpretation of student data.
- Experience implementing Social Emotional Learning programs.
- Knowledge of MTSS and Section 504 processes.
- Understanding of HIB investigation procedures and the role of the Anti-Bullying Specialist.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with students, parents/guardians, staff, community groups, and outside agencies.
- Familiarity with the Genesis student information system preferred.
Salary:
As per the current negotiated contract
