Math Educator Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate math educator for a full-time leave replacement position at Ridge High School, effective from September 17, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality math instruction to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students' academic growth. This role requires collaboration with colleagues, engagement with parents, and a commitment to the overall mission of the school.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and school curriculum.
• Teach various math courses, adapting instructional methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and projects.
• Provide timely feedback to students and communicate progress to parents and guardians.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience and support student learning.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in math education.
• Assist in the development and implementation of math-related extracurricular activities and events.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
• Uphold the values and policies of Ridge High School and contribute to a positive school culture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Valid state teaching certification in Mathematics or equivalent credentials.
• Proven experience in teaching math at the high school level is preferred.
• Strong understanding of math curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students in a diverse classroom setting.
• Proficient in using technology and digital tools for instruction and assessment.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and improvement.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
