Bilingual and ESL K Teacher

• Foster a nurturing and trusting academic environment
• Implement the Common Core and WIDA Standards in the delivery of daily academic instruction
• Develop learning activities and use differentiated instruction to address the various types of learners
• Collaborate with colleagues in Professional Learning Communities
• Document and track student performance using various assessments
• Utilize technology effectively in daily lessons, including gathering and managing student data as required by the district and school administrator

• NJ Teacher of Bilingual and ESL Certification
• NJ Teacher of Elementary Education
• Strong fluency and background in language acquisition and culture
• Familiarity with the use of instructional technology as well as differentiated instruction
• Knowledge of effective/creative instructional strategies
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with colleagues both inside and outside of the Bilingual Department

Working Conditions: Fanny Meyer Hiller Elementary; 9-1-2026 through 1-15-2027
