POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide daily instruction for students in accordance with Board approved curriculum. FTPS Preschool Teachers provide our youngest learners with high-quality and developmentally appropriate learning experiences in a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment.

• Appropriate New Jersey Certification required: P3 Certification
• Proficient in the use of instructional technology
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act
• Successful Criminal History Clearance
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find acceptable.

• Bilingual/Multilingual
• Master’s degree in education or related field
• Special Education Certification

10-Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable collective negotiations agreement.

In accordance with the provisions of the BOE/FTEA collective bargaining agreement, the salary range for this position in the 26/27 SY is Step 1 BA/BS ($68,023) - Step 18 PhD/EdD ($99,380). Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.

Performance is reviewed annually in accordance with NJ State law and the provisions of the Board of Education policy on evaluations for certificated staff.

Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited to Google Suite, IEP software program and Genesis Employee Portal and Student Information System.
