Middletown Township Public Schools is looking for qualified High School Special Education Teachers for Replacement co-teaching positions in Science and Social Studies. High School Special Education Teacher(s) - Replacements Positions Available: 9/7/2026 - 6/30/2027

Requirements and

Qualifications:

• Teacher of the Handicapped required OR Any NJ Instructional Certification (Teacher of Social Studies or any Science preferred) with Teacher of Students with Disabilities required
• Knowledge/evidence of implementation of best practices for supporting an inclusive environment and opportunities for students preferred
• High level skills in the collection of data and anecdotal notes to provide evidence of student growth and implementation of differentiated and targeted instruction to meet the specific needs of all learners
• Knowledge of the NJSLS in core subject areas
• Experience in integrating technology to enhance instruction
• Knowledge of Least Restrictive Environment regulations
• Knowledge of Google for Education

The Middletown Township School District offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Terms of Employment:
Salary range $60,673 - $87,673 Terms and benefits per MTEA collective bargaining agreement.
