Motivating Adolescent Performance (MAP) Facilitator

The Bernards Township School District is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and student-centered Motivating Adolescent Performance (MAP) Facilitator to support middle and high school students who demonstrate the potential for academic success but require additional academic, executive functioning, behavioral, and social-emotional support to reach their full potential.

The MAP Facilitator provides individual and small-group interventions, teaches study and organizational skills, collaborates with teachers and families, participates in the Intervention & Referral Services (I&RS) process, and works closely with school counselors, administrators, and student support staff to identify and address barriers to learning. The position also includes progress monitoring, transition planning, consultation, and connecting students and families with appropriate school and community resources.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in counseling, adolescent development, and student support services and is committed to helping students build the skills, confidence, and resilience needed for academic and personal success.

Qualifications:

* Appropriate New Jersey certification required

* Experience providing counseling, intervention, or student support services to adolescents preferred

* Strong interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
