Position: ESL Teacher - Intermediate
Pennsauken Public Schools is an urban/suburban Pre‑K to 12th grade school district of approximately 5,000 students located in Camden County, New Jersey.
Responsibilities- Develop lesson plans and prepare for the daily instruction program
- Evaluate student progress and provide progress reports as required
- Strive to maintain professional competence
- Identify pupil needs in cooperation with other professional staff members and assist in assessing and helping pupils with school‑related problems
- Enforce school rules, administrative regulations and board policy
- Maintain communication with parents, administrators and other professional staff members in order to best serve the interest of students
- Maintain a safe and orderly work area
- Perform other duties within the scope of employment and certification as assigned by the principal and/or his/her designee
- Endorsement #1475 English as a Second Language New Jersey State Certification (REQUIRED)
- MUST pass NJ Criminal History Review Unit fingerprinting requirement
- New Jersey State residency requirements for public employees in effect
- Salary, terms and conditions as per PEA contract
- Salary Range: $67,055–$105,594
