• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in working with students with disabilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in the delivery of instruction to the students.
• Assist teachers in helping students organize assignments, monitor their progress and set goals.
• Work with language/learning disability students as well as students with autism.
• Assist in managing behaviors of students.
• Assume responsibility for learning and adapting to each student's special medical, physical, communicative, and emotional needs.
• Assist teachers in keeping administrative records or preparing required reports related to students.

Following the established BTEA Salary Guide, ranging from $23,080.00 to $26,428.00, commensurate with experience.

• Full-time employees are eligible for Medical, Prescription, and Dental Benefits.
• Optical Reimbursement:
  Branchburg Township School District offers $325 per year toward optical reimbursement including prescription glasses or prescription contact lenses.
• Enrollment in the New Jersey Pension System is subject to term/status of the position.
