Verona Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team at

F. N. Brown School as a Grade 1 Leave Replacement. This full-time position offers the opportunity to inspire young learners and foster a positive, engaging classroom environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to student success, creativity in lesson planning, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience and contribute to a supportive school community.
• Utilize various teaching strategies and technology to enhance learning and accommodate different learning styles.
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment, ensuring the well-being of all students.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and enhance teaching skills.

• Valid NJ teaching certification, Elementary School Teacher (1001).
• Experience in a classroom setting, preferably with Grade 1 students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
