Physical Education Teacher in Multidisciplinary

Description

We are searching for an energetic hysical education /health teacher (full time and/or part time) to join our faculty. The physical education/ health teacher is responsible for organizing innovative games and challenges that promote physical activity among all students from grades K-8. The goal is to develop motor skills, physical development, proper exercise, and eating habits among all students. The teacher must be knowledgeable about healthy life practices and use everyday relevant situations to teach these practices, must be creative and resourceful in using school space and limited resources to provide physical activities, and be flexible and engaging as an instructor for students from multiple grade levels.

• Supervising practical PE lessons, including both indoor and outdoor classes
• Ensuring that children compete to their ability level and aren't exposed to unnecessary injury or illness through school sports
• Motivating school children to take up new sports or athletic pursuits
• Evaluating the performance of students throughout the school year
