Epic Healthcare - CNA Instructor

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor to join our team in New Jersey. As a CNA Instructor, you will play a vital role in educating and training the next generation of CNAs who will provide exceptional care to our residents. You will facilitate a positive and supportive learning environment while ensuring compliance with state regulations and facility standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide instruction in both classroom and clinical settings, covering topics such as patient care, infection control, safety procedures, and communication skills.
  • Prepare and maintain instructional materials, including lesson plans, tests, and assessments.
  • Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
  • Ensure that all training programs comply with state and federal guidelines and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the facility’s leadership team to ensure students gain practical experience and understanding of long-term care settings.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and changes in healthcare regulations.
  • Assist students with clinical placements and facilitate their hands-on training at the facility.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a current and valid CNA certification in the state of New Jersey.
  • Mustf experience working as a CNA, with hands-on experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Teaching or instructional experience is preferred.
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain CNA Instructor certification, as required by state regulations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to foster a positive and motivating learning environment.
