requirements

must possess or be eligible for a valid new jersey teacher of social studies certificate or certificate of eligibilty.

demonstrated knowledge in certificated area and effective teaching methods.

thorough knowledge of industry standards/new jersey student learning standards.

thorough knowledge and familiarity with instructional technologies.

ability to maintain a safe, secure and caring learning environment.

strong interpersonal and communication skills.

ability to communicate with parents/guardians.

successfully undergo a criminal history check and proof of u.s. Citizenship or legal resident alien status.

meets the health qualifications required of all personnel.

meets nj residency requirements or willingness to relocate to nj within 365 days of employment.

salary: per diem rate of $285.37/day for qualified, certificated persons. No benefits associated with position.

modify and adjust the instructional plan and goals according to student achievement as measured by ongoing verbal, written and/or authentic assessments.
