Raritan Valley Community College's Center for Gender and Sex Equity has an anticipated opening for a Part-Time Student Associate. The Student Associate will serve under the direct supervision of the director(s) of the CGSE. The Student Associate is a grant-funded position with the college.

Assist with CGSE program planning, set-up, implementation, and promotion.

Maintain office presence and serve as first point of contact for CGSE.

Maintain social media presence and facilitate communication on behalf of CGSE.

Assist with coordinating Student Volunteers.

Meets with CGSE Director for regular check-ins/accountability.

Must be enrolled at least as a part-time student for Fall 2026& Spring 2027, and must maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 (2.75 semester GPA).

Able to work 10-12 hours/week on campus.

Previous work or school experience with organizing and coordinating a project or event.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Live and/or familiarity with current Social Media Platforms, Networks and Tools i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, You Tube, Snapchat, RV Connect, etc.

Able to manage priorities, deadlines, and tasks to meet deadlines and accomplish goals.

Must be dependable, and punctual.

Strong interpersonal, communications and customer service skills and enjoy working with people required.
