Marotta Controls is seeking an Electrical or Software Engineer to support the development of Special and/or Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for the Power and Control Actuation Systems (PAS) business unit. The applicant should have a background in Electrical or Software Engineering with demonstrated skills in the development of power supply, motor control, and power distribution unit testing.

• Design test systems including Test Consoles and Interface Test Adapters (ITA)
• Develop Test Equipment System Requirements (TE SRR), Test Equipment Design (TE PDR/CDR), and Test Equipment Validation Procedures/Reports
• Use various laboratory equipment (e.g., power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes) and automate testing with said equipment
• Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose issuesusuarios with test equipment systems and determine root cause and corrective actions (RCCA)
• Perform and complete SDRLs and other documents regarding Test Plans/Procedures, Validation Plans/Procedures, and other related engineering deliverables
• Work with outside vendors and suppliers

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in Test Engineering / Test Equipment design for power electronics system testing
• Experience designing test systems utilizingrias a Test Console and Interface Test Adapter (ITA)
• Must be a US Citizen

• Software:
  OrCAD, LT Spice, MS Visio, MS Office
• Programming languages: C#, Lab View, MS SQL
• Data/Communication types:
  Analog I/O, Digital I/O, IEEE‑488, IC, SPI, USB, CAN, RS‑485/422/232, Serial, TCP/IP, J‑TAG

• Project planning, monitoring, and reporting
• Experience in PCB layout and routing
• Software: C#, LabVIEW

$110,000 – $123,000 per year

This position is at our Parsippany, NJ office location.
