As a Senior Engineer in Automation
, you will be responsible for hands‑on Automation & Controls supporting a live health and nutrition manufacturing plant, focused on troubleshooting, reliability, and small‑to‑medium automation improvements. The engineer will work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering to improve control system performance & sustainability.
- Support plant operations by troubleshooting automation, instrumentation, and control issues.
- Own small‑to‑medium automation improvements from concept through implementation.
- Improve reliability, standardization, and documentation of control systems.
- Work closely with process engineers, maintenance, IT/OT, and operators.
- Reduce reliance on external contractors by building in‑house capability.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical, industrial, mechanical engineering (or related technical discipline) required.
- 4-8 years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering.
- Strong PLC and/or DCS experience (Emerson Delta
V experience is a plus, but not required) - Comfortable troubleshooting live production systems under real‑world constraints.
