Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Department: 6100 - Engineering
Location:
High Bridge, NJ
Pay Range: $80,000-$100,000
Summary
This position is to support the engineering department. They will need to be able to develop processes, drawings, design and details for manufacturing of custom tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures. This position is responsible for preparing an accurate and detailed shop routing package within a specific timeframe to meet customer commitments and current scheduled shop load.
Responsibilities
- Support engineering department as required.
- Develops, evaluates, and provides detail process steps (Routers) in the manufacturing of custom tools, dies, jigs and fixtures.
- Issues preliminary requisitions for tooling raw material.
- Estimates production times, resources required and related costs to provide information for pricing and scheduling.
- Provides detail drawings and layouts as required for production.
- Designs tools, dies, jigs and fixtures as required for processing product through resource.
- Assist sales and marketing in product design/tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
- Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Basic computer skills including ERP and associated programs.
- Mathematically inclined.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineer or similar field and/or 2 year minimum work relative experience.
- Experience in:
Solid Works, Creo, AutoCAD, Office and Excel - Experience in GD&T and Blue Print Reading
