Your Mission is Ours Lockheed Martin RMS in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking a Summer 2026 intern in Systems Engineering. In this role, you will:

- Assist engineering teams with engineering product development including System Definitions, Configuration Definition Documents, and Interface Block Diagrams.

-Review and inspect products and databases for technical accuracy and completeness.

-Assist in the development of land based test site switching design and configuration definition. Must be a US Citizen ;this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent/related field.

• Experience on at least one team based project.

• Experience with Microsoft Office.

• Must be a US Citizen ;this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired

Skills:

• Experience with system design and/or analysis.

• Demonstrated ability with AutoCAD, Visio.

• Demonstrated ability with modeling tools such as Cameo or Rhapsody.

• Demonstrated ability with automation through scripting/coding.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $48,381 - $64,249. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
