Job Description
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting/repair of electronic and electro‑mechanical products to customers.
- Provide technical support through approved communication channels (phone, email) and at customer sites.
- Assist in setting up electronic controllers for customer orders.
- Support internal personnel and customers with application expertise, including both mechanical and electrical design considerations.
- Catalog and maintain technical information related to products and applications.
- Generate materials for and conduct maintenance and product seminars and trainings.
- Handle field‑failure complaints and evaluate returned products for warranty analysis; document inspections/complaints, generate reports, and make administrative warranty decisions in accordance with established procedures.
- Comply with all current ISO quality standards, work instructions, company safety rules, and all other company policies and procedures.
- Travel frequently on company business to domestic and international destinations.
- Associate degree in Electronic Engineering/Technology or equivalent, plus 3 years of experience with industrial drives.
- Ability to read and understand parts lists, catalogs, price books, general factory instructions, and customer service procedures.
- Ability to operate test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and strip chart recorders.
- Experience with AC variable frequency controllers and servo motor controllers.
- Knowledge of various PLC types with the ability to troubleshoot and modify programs.
- Experience with industrial field buses (e.g., Device Net, Profibus) preferred.
- Ability to read control wiring diagrams.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swedesboro, NJ.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.65 - $33.65/hr.
