A manufacturer of industrial furnaces located in Rancocas, NJ is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of complex, custom-engineered capital equipment projects from contract award through shipment, installation, commissioning, and final customer acceptance. The company designs and manufactures advanced vacuum and controlled atmosphere metal processing systems supporting customers in demanding industries, including aerospace and other high-performance materials markets.
Responsibilities- Serve as the key point of coordination between the customer and the company's internal cross‑functional teams to ensure project milestones are delivered on schedule, within scope, and in alignment with contract requirements.
- Coordinate day‑to‑day activities across engineering, manufacturing, and field service, driving accountability, clear communication, and disciplined follow‑through.
- Interpret technical requirements, read CAD drawings, and work effectively with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Manage travel as required (10–20% domestic, occasional international).
- B.S. in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience supporting or managing complex projects in an industrial, manufacturing, or technical environment (capital equipment, engineered‑to‑order systems, automation, or similar).
- Practical knowledge of industrial equipment and system integration concepts such as PLC/HMI, sensors/instrumentation, hydraulics/pneumatics, and utilities interfaces.
Salary range: $70K - $100K.
