We represent a well‑established and growing real estate development company located in Farmingdale, NJ
, specializing in residential and light commercial development projects. This organization manages the full development lifecycle, from land acquisition and entitlements through design, permitting, construction, and final project delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Land Development Professional looking to gain hands‑on exposure across the entire development process. This individual will work alongside engineers, planners, municipalities, contractors, and internal project teams while contributing to ground‑up residential, mixed‑use, and commercial development projects from concept through completion.
Land Development Professional Responsibilities- Assist with project entitlements, permitting, and land use approval processes
- Support site layout, grading, utility coordination, and infrastructure planning
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, site plans, and development documentation
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, municipalities, and regulatory agencies
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and construction oversight activities
- Support project managers throughout the development lifecycle from acquisition through completion
- Assist with project coordination between design, permitting, and construction teams
- Contribute to residential subdivision, mixed‑use, light commercial, and redevelopment projects
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Land Planning, or related field preferred
- Internship, co‑op, or professional experience in land development, site civil engineering, construction, or related industries preferred
- Understanding of grading, drainage, utilities, and site development principles
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
- Interest in gaining exposure to the full real estate development lifecycle
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and municipalities
- Desire to grow within a dynamic development environment
- Strong initiative and willingness to learn
$70,000 - $82,000 (depending on experience)
