Job SummaryThe Sales Engineer in the NJ plant bridges the gap between engineering and sales. Using technical knowledge, they understand customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and communicate the value of products and services to potential and existing clients. The role requires both technical expertise and sales acumen, ensuring solutions meet customer requirements while aligning with the company's business goals. The Sales Engineer collaborates with their team and demonstrates ENNOVI's values of accountability, teamwork, and integrity.
MainResponsibilities
- Partner with Sales Director and Site Inside Sales Engineer to manage and achieve product line revenue and margin.
- Partner with the Product Portfolio Management Team and Sales Director to set product line strategy and market growth roadmap direction.
- Identify market applications to grow the product and manage product life cycle.
- Create and establish strong customer relationships to promote product line and revenue growth, including at least 50+% domestic travel to customers within the NA region (US & Mexico) as required.
- Develop and propose technical solutions that address customer needs, often involving customized product designs or configurations.
- Engineering Degree or similar Technical Degree.
- Knowledge of electronic componentry product, stamping as a process, and/or electronics-stamped components.
- Established network in electronics industries.
- Marketing background with strong sales experience.
- Experience with soldering/PCB applications a plus.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Must be comfortable with travel 50% or more of the time.
