Mechanical Design Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Mechanical Design Engineer with Security Clearance
Location: Springfield

Mechanical Design Engineer Perform engineering valve design functions for the development of new products and for the modification of existing products.
* Design and develop prototype models and methods to validate design concepts.
* Collaborate with team members to validate designs and make recommended change
* Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, production, vendors, and contractors to support product design projects, with feedback from Engineering Managers QUALIFICATIONS
• Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering degree.
• 3-5+ years of engineering experience. Proficient in AutoCAD and Solid Works, with an understanding of analytical tools such as ANSYS, MATLAB, and/or Mathcad

Experience with using geometric tolerance techniques and drafting to ensure proper alignment and stackups (ANSI Y14.5M-1994 is a plus)

Experience with designing fluid handling devices (valves, pumps) is a plus All candidates must meet the US persons criteria.
