Project Engineer

Job Purpose:

Completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements to ensure on time delivery of sold scope.

• Communicate and lead with other engineering disciplines within the department, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and on time.
• Communicate with customers to ensure successful installation of equipment on site.
• Oversee sub‑contractors as required.
• Assist with product drawing and specification reviews as required.
• Determine project objectives by reviewing handover documents and specifications.
• Determine project specifications by analyzing product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
• Manage communication with customers throughout the life of the project.
• Manage communication with internal stakeholders.
• Plan and manage completion of project objectives from receipt of order to commissioning.
• Create project schedules to achieve successful project timelines.
• Create procurement specifications and production demands using the company SAP system.
• Provide general technical support to customers during the life of the project.
• Support Sales and Service department with technical support as required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience within the Dairy or Beverage industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi‑task on a regular basis.
• Strong networking skills and ability to work as a team with other departments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, especially experience with process equipment.
• Ability to arrange multiple tasks and prioritize them to achieve customer satisfaction and company goals.
• Ability to function well in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work well with other disciplines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to train team members on individual processes.
• Excellent understanding of customer relationships and risk management.

The typical base pay range at the start of employment is $85,000 - $99,000. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation; final offers are based on factors such as skill set, experience, location, and qualifications.
