Project Engineer
Job Purpose:
Completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements to ensure on time delivery of sold scope.
- Communicate and lead with other engineering disciplines within the department, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and on time.
- Communicate with customers to ensure successful installation of equipment on site.
- Oversee sub‑contractors as required.
- Assist with product drawing and specification reviews as required.
- Determine project objectives by reviewing handover documents and specifications.
- Determine project specifications by analyzing product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
- Manage communication with customers throughout the life of the project.
- Manage communication with internal stakeholders.
- Plan and manage completion of project objectives from receipt of order to commissioning.
- Create project schedules to achieve successful project timelines.
- Create procurement specifications and production demands using the company SAP system.
- Provide general technical support to customers during the life of the project.
- Support Sales and Service department with technical support as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- 1-3 years of experience within the Dairy or Beverage industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi‑task on a regular basis.
- Strong networking skills and ability to work as a team with other departments.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, especially experience with process equipment.
- Ability to arrange multiple tasks and prioritize them to achieve customer satisfaction and company goals.
- Ability to function well in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work well with other disciplines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to train team members on individual processes.
- Excellent understanding of customer relationships and risk management.

The typical base pay range at the start of employment is $85,000 - $99,000. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation; final offers are based on factors such as skill set, experience, location, and qualifications.
