Sr. Mechanical Project Engineer
Allentown, NJ
A growing company in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry has an immediate opening for a Sr. Project Engineer to work at their Allentown, NJ location. Salary: $100K.
Responsibilities- Lead technical discussions with customers to clarify requirements, specifications, and performance expectations.
- Translate customer needs into detailed engineering documentation, scope definitions, and internal work instructions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, production planning, and quality teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and achievable.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and internal standards.
- Ensure sales orders are accurately entered with complete technical details, configurations, and customer requirements.
- Lead regular update meetings with customers and internal teams, providing clear status reports, action items, and timelines.
- BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- 10+ years of experience in project engineering, applications engineering, or technical project management.
- Strong customer‑facing communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience working with production/manufacturing environments.
