• Design, detail, and integrate mechanical components and assemblies to deliver innovative and safe equipment solutions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design complex systems
• Conduct thorough analysis, simulation, and testing to validate design concepts and optimize performance and reliability
• Design and troubleshoot complex vacuum systems for material handling applications
• Create, update, and maintain company documentation for all mechanical detail drawings, sub‑assemblies, and system documentation
• Interface with customers, sales, and management to define system design parameters accurately
• Practice DFMA techniques for R&D and production of mechanical components and systems
• Assemble prototype mechanical systems and conduct testing of components and sub‑assemblies
• Perform cost‑effective engineering exercises to optimize component costs
• Identify and resolve component obsolescence issues efficiently
• Limited domestic travel, less than 10% per year

Required

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficient in CAD/FEA/CFD
• Knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 – 2018 and ANSI Y14.35 - 2014
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design

Preferred

• 2 years of experience with Solid Works
• 2 years of design experience with automated equipment
• Understanding of ISO 9001 and Engineering Change Notices
• Familiarity with designing complex vacuum systems
